FUND-RAISING ANNOUNCEMENT

Camp Chesterfield Reverse raffle

We’ve told you about the all the damage and necessary repairs that occurred over the winter as well as a need for a new roof for our Art Gallery. Consequently, the first fund-raising event will be dedicated to our maintenance needs and working toward our new roof which may cost upwards of $10,000 - $13,000 (we’re still getting estimates, but this is a preliminary first estimate).

Our grateful thanks to the USCL in Cincinnati for this fund-raising idea.

Camp Chesterfield will be selling raffle tickets at $50.00 each starting May 10, 2011 and ending Friday, October 29, 2011. We will sell 100 tickets in total. Each ticket may be purchased by one, two, three, four or five individuals to equal the $50.00 ticket price. Each purchased ticket shall have the name or names of the purchasers and their phone numbers written on it. Each purchased ticket stub shall be deposited into a box for keeping and potential drawing at periodic intervals for winning prizes. Participants do not have to be present to win. Each winning ticket is eligible to be drawn again in future drawings.

will be drawn. The remaining ticket wins $1,000.00 – hence Reverse Raffle!

This raffle and prizes issued are contingent on all 100 tickets being sold. Don’t wait for the last minute – you can’t win if you don’t play! Tickets are being sold at the Administration Office and we accept cash, check, or credit/debit card. Call 765-378-0235 to purchase your raffle ticket with your credit or debit card.

We have several raffles planned for Opening weekend and throughout the summer that will help us move forward to replacing the Art Gallery roof before winter arrives next year. This is our goal and we hope you will join us in working toward the repairs needed to save our treasured artifacts!
