“Native American Shamanic Spirituality”
with Rev. P.T. Wilson

Shamanic studies and Shamanic exploration have always been a part of Rev. P.T. Wilson’s life.  He comes from a Cherokee heritage.  His first doctorate (he has two) is a study of how Near-Death Experiences can be understood from a Shamanic format.  While there is no one Native American Spirituality and while there is no one understanding of Shamanic spirituality, there are commonalities and patterns that can be identified in a variety of practices around the world.  This talk will be a brief discussion that simply “opens the doorway” to new understandings.

Rev. P.T. Wilson is an ordained United Methodist Minister, a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Social Worker.  As a lifelong learner, Rev. Wilson has earned one bachelor’s degrees, two master’s degrees, two doctorates, and two post-doctoral certificates.  He is also one of Camp Chesterfield’s favorite Guest Faculty Members and is a certified Spiritual Healer and Medium through the Indiana Association of Spiritualists.
