Welcome to our 2021 Distance Learning Program.  Below you will find the schedule of upcoming classes for the first Distance Learning Week of January along with their descriptions.

Prerequisites will not be required to register for Distance Learning courses. Certification students will, however, be held to prerequisite requirements before testing.

Members and Non-Members: $80 for each 1 credit class (No vouchers will be accepted for online education)

Registration deadline is 24 hours prior to the start of each individual class.

The registration process is different this year.  When you purchase your classes, you will receive an email with instructions to download the files that contains the details and registration link for the classes.  Make sure you download the files promptly and follow the instructions to register for the classes on Zoom.

Basic Tarot (MP1) with Rev. Rose Vanden Eynden

Course Description:
This class will provide basic instructions for beginning tarot. Symbolism and meaning of the Major and Minor Arcana cards and different tarot spreads will be discussed so that students may give a variety of different tarot readings. This class will utilize the Rider Waite Tarot deck and students should bring this deck to class.

Sermon Preparation 1 (A) with Rev. Michael Schlotterbeck

Course Description:
This class will explore the development of the content and delivery of a sermon.

Holy Smoke (E) with Rev. Glenda Cadarette

Course Description:
This class includes the history and esoteric science of smudging and proper techniques of smudging. Learn how to identify, collect and grow sacred plants for smudging and how to make smudge sticks.

Qabalistic Studies (MP2) with Rev. P.T. Wilson

Course Description:
The esoteric or hidden mysteries of the Qabalah and the Tree of Life will be explored to gain a better understanding of man and his place  in God’s creation. The goal of this class is to gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual path we each travel as it relates to the Tree of Life. Students will learn to apply an understanding of the Qabalah into  their daily lives for practical and spiritual living.

The Language of Healing (HE/E) with Rev. Mary Lynn Crawford

Course Description:
Spiritual healing, energy healing, vibrational healing, alternative healing, complementary healing, modalities…the terminology used in healing can be mind-boggling.  Join us as we make our way through this confusing sea and build a framework for understanding the complexities of the terms as we discuss the different categories of healing, different modalities, varieties of healing, and related terms.

Ritual in the Spiritualist Church (0) with Rev. Jeremy Kaylor

Course Description:
The student will learn how to implement ritual in the Spiritualist church as a means to reaffirm meaning, to bond community, and to encounter mystery. Demonstrations and examples of sacramental and alternative rites will be offered.

Intro to Trance Mediumship (M) with Rev. Terry Ryan

Course Description:
Learn how the physical body is used by an outside intelligence or a spirit form (doctor, guide or loved one) presenting ideas, truth, knowledge and blessings. The student will learn trance theory and practice.
