DESCRIPTIONS OF REQUIRED CLASSES


  • Counseling II*: Focuses on communication techniques to use with your clients. Also includes an overview of abuse and the many forms it takes, signs and symptoms, cycle of abuse and how to help. (*Prerequisite: Counseling I)

  • Healing Addictive Behavior: Learning skills to detach from dependent relationships. Learn about healing thought systems based on love and release of fear.

  • Spiritual Anatomy*: Associating the etheric and spiritual centers with the physical anatomy. (*Prerequisite: Chakras)

  • Spiritual Healing I: Methods, techniques, and philosophy of spiritual healing.

  • Spiritual Healing II*: The psychology of spiritual healing and practical procedures for public and private practice with prayer, meditation and laying on of hands, utilizing the power of love, intention and intuition. (*Prerequisite: Spiritual Healing I)

  • Spiritual Healing Ethics: Ethical issues faced by the Spiritual Healer. A standard of conduct upon which any healer may safely base a life of healing service.

SPIRITUAL HEALING CERTIFICATION


  • IAOS member in good standing for one (1) year.

  • 20 Credits (10 Core classes, 6 Required classes, 4 Elective Healing classes)

  • Pass a written comprehensive exam covering current Healing classes with a score of 80% or more.

  • Six (6) Student Healing Services.

  • At least three (3) during week long seminary services.

  • Six (6) notarized affidavits of healing ability

  • Minimum of two (2) years study

REQUIREMENTS

ATTENTION STUDENTS PLANNING TO TEST: Students planning to test for any level of certification or Ordination must advise the Dean of Education of their Intent to Test no later than the pre-registration date identified for each Seminary. Application to test must be completed and testing fee paid during walk-in registration.

Yes, all are welcome. Classes, Workshops and Special Events all require registration. You can view all events in our Calendar and registration forms can be found on the event page or in the Downloads section. Do not be concerned if you see the term “Seminary” next to an event, anyone on a spiritual path of learning may attend those classes as well. Many events allow you to register on-line too.
The best place to start is to visit our Calendar; there you will find a listing of special weekends, week-long classes as well as Summer Series Workshops and other Special Events. Click on an event and you will be taken to the event page with all the details and registration information. You can also visit our Downloads page for registration forms. Most can register for most classes and workshop on-line.
Mediumship Development Classes are hands on classes taught by Certified Development Teachers with many years of experience. These classes are held in a small group setting.
